More Personal Records

Dear Victoria,

We are not in a fight...I know better than to interrupt you :p. We will have to talk about your new split sometime, I am curious to see what it is now. Thank you for laying off the cardio today, that was a good move especially because you have the 14er (look at me!) coming up.

One a different note, I got 2 new personal records today!

I hit legs with one of my clients and then chest again with Angel. I only gave in because he wanted me to and my intentions were to go light. Not what happened at all. My leg routine was short and concise because my client could only stay for 45 mins.

Squats
135# x 8 (I thought I was done after this set bc I was already tired lol)

Single Leg Press (weights only inclusive of what was racked on the sled)

I never thought I would break into the 200s for my squats anytime soon. I was planning that for the winter, but I guess I was wrong. My bench today was very surprising too! I was not expecting it and I just suggested the weight kind of jokingly. Angel just went along with it. Both these just go to show that as long as you shoot a little high, you will make it I guess. Breaking into the 200s, even though only for a few reps, was a big thing for me. I wanted to get to 225 in the winter, but that may just come early. Fill up your G6 and fly home for a weekend and you may just be the one that makes me get to my short term goals!

Gluteus Maximus

Origin: Posterior Illium, Sacrum
Insertion: Gluteal Tuberosity of Femur (fancy way of saying a notch where it attaches), Illio-Tibial Band
Functions: Look awesome on Minh, ext. Rotation, Extension of hip, stabilizing knee, ecc. of lowering down body.
