Wish I could have stayed up, but I was getting so tired from reading boring things! Today's workout was boring, just chest again :( It's Angel' day for training so I just tag along. I am not even going to post it, it was super boring and nothing crazy or profound. The goal of today was releasing Growth Hormone, Angel looking for size, no way! Mission Success, I just wish it was more dynamic and fun. Don't get me wrong, lifting heavy things is great and dandy, jumping and sprinting after squats is just a little more fun :)
I wanted to tell you about our baseline and one rep tests we did in class. For my vertical jump, I was in the 95% for my age group, 21-25 I think. I like to jump, what can I say? I have a 30 inch vertical according to the force pad we used. My one rep max was 510 (not including the sled). I was in the 75% of upper body muscular endurance, measured by a 85# bench press. We used a 1 sec concentric and 1 sec eccentric tempo and I got 30 reps. I feel like this was lacking a little, I want to try this again sometime. My Biceps endurance was in the excellent category :) From the looks of the results, looks like I am going to go see a girl lol.
Glad I got to chat a little with you. There is still more that I wanted to talk about, base lines being one of them. Maybe we will chat this weekend sometime, but I know you're busy so who knows. Have fun doing whatever it is your are doing tomm. (your tomm, not mine. It's 1:33 here, pretty cool!) and I cannot wait to hear about it!
