WHAT THE HELL WAS I THINKING DOING THIS MARY KAY THING?! like really wtf?! This is NOT me and It's stupid. FML. I don't know what to do now. Of course I spent 100 bucks to buy in and then they want you to buy product to have your inventory. How could I think I could start a business while i'm in school?
I'm screwed now. I don't know what to tell them or do or anything.
I wanna go crawl in a hole and die. I'm tired of my stomach issues. I'm tired of school. And i'm freaking out about this MK thing because it was a ridiculous stupid decision on my part.

So I don't know if you've heard, but Megan got a bike today. She's pretty excited about it.
Also, my cold weather cycling jacket came in today! Finally! I've been waiting a week for it to come in the mail, the holiday messed with my shipping. My cold weather gloves are coming tomm too! On top of that, my cycling friend asked if I wanted to go riding with him this weekend, but I need to figure out your schedule first. Are we going to be able to hang out Sat at all?
No real workout today, I just rode another 20 miles.

Sorry I couldn't talk when you called, my sister was home so we were just starting dinner. It looks like Rays will be a good option for Megvember, she brought the place up again the other day. What day works for you? She is leaving to go home the 22nd.
I went for a recovery ride today. It was windy and although the day started out warm, it became chilly by the time I got on my bike. Not good riding conditions at all which led to only 10 miles today, perfect for a recovery.
Not really anything going on besides that, I trained, rode and went home and studied/hung out w. my sister.

My ride today was super awesome too. It was 61 here too! Crazy. I rode a little over 20 miles at a 20mph pace. It was pretty tough and towards the last 3 miles, my pace suffered to around 16mph. I'm glad I could keep up with my friend though. I went into the ride knowing that he is much faster and I was able to stay with him for the most part. There was one section of the ride that he was around 50ft ahead of me, but I dropped into my aero position and caught him. What a difference it makes! We rode on Beach rd. I am not sure if you know where that is, but it was absolutely gorgeous. It was the perfect autumn day to ride. The temp was perfect, the roads were clear and the leaves were turning colors. A little windy at times, but probably not as bad as yours.
Verdict: I am getting aero bars for sure, but I was debating putting together a full tri/time-trial cockpit. No longer doing that, I still enjoy the versatility of my handlebar's hand positions and being able to climb better and for the speed setup, the add-on aero bars work just fine ( for now ;) ).
I am down to swim for sure. Let's try to coordinate our workouts this week and see what we can fit in!

I forgot to tell you about my workout yesterday.
The pt at the gym told me about this yoga place she wants me to start going to and doing. Of course that means more money and i hate yoga... lol but the first week is free and I really needed to stretch it out so i went yesterady.
I biked there then did an hour core power yoga class. It was a heated room and a flow class whcih meant it wasn't all that boring pose and hold stuff. It was fantastic! Omg it was great. I was beat by the end and part of it was cuz i was super sore from thursdays workout but still. I will for sure be going back:) well, hopefully, if i can find time.
Today addy and i biked up horsetooth again. iT WAS SUPER windy so we had to hop off and walk part of it. We made a new bike friend too! There was this guy who passed us right at the beginning then we caught up with him at the top. He's a freshman and ended up tagging along with us for the rest of the ride. He's from San Diego. It was fun and we might ride with him again at some point. It was so beautiful here today minus the wind. 61 degrees! Addy and I have spent the afternoon at the library but I can't concentrate... obviously since i'm blogging instead. I got some good studying done for kines- a solid hour and a half. But i'm not done yet:( I just have no motivation i want break! Tomorrow i should have some time though. I'll probably try and review a little more tonight and some for my other class that i have a quiz on tuesday in as well. Then watch tv:)

Swam for 30 mins with swimming drills inbetween laps when I got bored. Roughly 1/3 mile
Spin for 30 mins with good pace, just short of 6 miles
Ran HILLS! 1mile starting at a 6 degree to 7 degree. Last 1/2 mile at 8 degrees. All at no less than 6mph.
I chose the hills bc I am trying to develop my hams and glutes a little more to make my cycling a tad easier.
I have a ride with Rob later today so I did not work out earlier. He's faster and we are riding his route so I want to be as fresh as possible. I am testing out some gels tomorrow too so hopefully I can find a carb/energy source for races to come! I found some really cool supplements too, which i will post about as I learn a little more about them. Finally, I got my first bike jersey today! Yay for the clearance rack at my bike store!
I have an exam coming on friday, so more studying throughout this weekend :(

I was EXHAUSTED today and totally wasn't gonna gym it up, again. But, once again, addy to the rescue. I went with her and got it done. I'm gonna miss her so much next semester:( she's coming to dc for a week over witner break/my birthday so i'm excited about that!
we did a circuit it was fun i probably shouldn't of done it but oh well.

Yay! Thanks for the post! I have finally finished studying for tonight, test later on :( Nothing new with my workouts really, I have been swimming and spinning/cycling everyday for the most part. I got new goggles today so I HAD to test them out. So far so good. They did not leak water in at all!
So I have a new "cycling boyfriend". He is a a triathlete at the gym and he asked me if I planned on riding throughout the cold season. I told him yes and now he wants to ride. It will be awesome though because since he is faster than me, I will have to work to keep up with him, but he benefits by having to keep up his pace.
The other day I was able to hit 26mph on flat road. Pretty fast, but then a tricycle cut out in front of me and I had to kill all my speed in order to keep that idiot alive.
Nice job on the 5 pullups. That's sick and super impressive. I am dead tired again, I just wanted to put something up on the blog since I have been MIA as well, stupid exams.

I haven't written in a while so I decided to drop in:)
sorry about that! my workouts have just been lame and boring and not much to write about.
I was totally not feeling it today but addy and i had planned to work out so i went. good thing, too.
i started with 20 minutes on the stairmaster then 20 on the AMT while i waited for her.
we lifted chest and tri's today:) nothing cray cray
Bench press- 5 sets, i don't feel like posting weights lol
my pushup sequence- only once and so lame cuz we were tired:)

single arm fly- 15lbs for 10
single arm tricep one you showed me- 15lbs for 10
3x:
single arm cable tricep extensions- 12.5lbs for 10
pushup to tricep kickback- 10lbs for 8
then we did pullups just for fun because we do that. I GOT 5 TWO TIMES WOOHOO! and this other guy was soooo impressed it was hilarious. he was like wow that is so awesome! you guys are girls, that is super impressive and hard core. and then he started talking to us about lifting and asking what we do and he was all impressed cuz we are girls who lifted just as much as he did. it was kinda hilarious. but very flattering lol!
okay nothing exciting. been studying for orgo. i'm kinda burnt out so i feel like i'm not gonna study any tomorrow and just go take the test thursday and hope for the best. i just wanna go make some pumpkin granola!

I am ridiculously tired! I can barely keep my eyes open right now, but I wanted to just get something on the blog bc I haven't posted for a few days.
I did another Tri workout today, but I was running low on time so I just swam for 30 mins, spin for 30 and ran for 15. Nothing impressive, but at least it was something.

So I got so carried away with your stories that I forgot to tell you mine. It's about my flat tire. I finished my ride down to georgetown and back. As I was getting back on to the sidewalk ramp 20 ft from the club, I hit a pothole and got a flat! The only reason that I even decided to get back on the sidewalk using that ramp was because the ramp I normally use had some woman walking super slow and I did not want to slow down. Lesson here, either slow down or be more careful around potholes. Anyways, I am going to go take my bike in tomorrow and perhaps I will have to change both the tire and the tube depending on how big the tear in my tire is. Who knows, I may leave with another goodie for my bike :) or :/ depending on how you look at it.
